ICONIQA MUMBAI AIRPORT – Situated just 5 minutes from the Terminal 2, Mumbai International Airport, it is a must stay for business travellers. The Hotel - Managed by Royal Orchid Hotels, is really really cool with a very nice vibe to it!

Location: 5-min drive to Terminal 2, Mumbai International Airport. Spot on for Airport stays.
The Property: 291 keys, 7 categories. The Hotel is large enough for you to enjoy. It has a Lounge Bar in the lobby, a restaurant on the 1st floor named Tiffin Terrace, another restaurant called 'KADAK' serving Progressive Indian Cuisine, a third which is a rooftop bar on the 10th, a rooftop pool with Tarmac (Parking bay) views. The Planes parked can be viewed while sipping a cocktail from the sunbeds of the pool. It also has a Gym with decent equipment, and a SPA with outstanding therapists.
Rooms: It has 7 categories. I stayed in two of them. Premier - the smallest one, and, Reserve - the next one. The Reserve room is quite nice to be honest. Very decent size, big washrooms! The Best Thing - In ALL their rooms - A complimentary snack/mini bar (non-alcoholic) and a SMART CLOSET. Yes, a smart closet! Put your clothes and dry them!
Housekeeping/Service: The service is a little bit on the slower side but I wouldn't say it is bad. Anything you order from your room might take 10-15 minutes or two phone calls to reach you. But the staff is generous, well-presented and well-trained.
Food: Brilliant. Buffet spread is very very nice with some quality taste across cuisines. Try their dosas for the breakfast and the Poha. I did not try a dinner in here but the buffet is worth adding in your package.
Some Advices/Tips -
- Book the reserve room for the best experience. You might see planes flying from your room!
- If you are a Vada Pav lover, like me, you might have to walk a bit to get access to one because there aren't stalls nearby.
